Join the Yeti Quartet at the Chelsea Market on Sunday, August 29 from 1-3 pm, as the Yetis present: "Happy Birthday, MJ: A tribute to the King of Pop."
The Yetis will debut 15+ arrangements of Michael's greatest songs, from the early days of the Jackson Five to his smash hits on Thriller and Bad. Informal and child friendly, the music will be performed in identical sets at 1 & 2 pm.
The Yeti Quartet is a versatile NYC string quartet featuring repertoire that?stretches from Mozart to Michael Jackson. Classically trained at top?conservatories and talented improvisers all, the Yetis have collaborated with diverse artists including Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, the Kronos Quartet, Vince Giordano & His Nighthawks, Sufjan Stevens, the American Theater Orchestra, Kander & Ebb, Nina Nastasia, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, The Defibulators, Bernadette Peters, the American Symphony Orchestra and Jay-Z.
